I thought I'd update my journal for a change.

I'm done with my first semester at university. It was an interesting few months. I changed majors. I went from Pre-Medical Biology to History. I decided that I'd much rather have a career in a field I have a real passion for as opposed to a career in something I'm apathetic about purely for the sake of a larger salary.

Apart from that, living in a different country has been pleasant so far. One thing I think I will never get used to though is the winter here in Wisconsin. It's bitterly cold. I've never felt a cold that actually causes physical pain in the extremities. I plan on buying a nice big winter coat soon; one of those North Face ones with thermal padding and a furry hood. That should help keep the cold out when I'm walking to class!

I'm currently reading Down Under by Bill Bryson. I haven't really been making much progress though as Fallout 3 and Greg House have both been diverting my attention.

Oh, and I finally managed to handover the ~DAMusicForum account to =dripping-dream. I'm sorry I took so long. A mixture of time constraints and.. well.. laziness meant I wasn't as quick as some of you would have liked me to have been.
